Amanjot Kaur is a rising star in Indian women’s cricket, known for her all-round abilities and calm presence under pressure. Born on 1 January 2000 in Mohali, Punjab, Amanjot plays as a right-handed batter and right-arm medium pace bowler, often contributing as a reliable finisher with the bat and a death-over specialist with the ball.
She began her domestic career with Punjab, later representing Chandigarh, and returned to Punjab in 2022. Her impressive performances in domestic cricket earned her a place in the Indian national team.
Amanjot made a memorable T20I debut in January 2023 against South Africa, scoring an unbeaten 41 runs and winning the Player of the Match award. She followed this with a strong ODI debut in July 2023 vs Bangladesh, where she took 4 wickets for 31 runs, one of the best debut performances by an Indian woman in ODIs. As of 2024, she has played several international matches, building a reputation for stepping up in high-pressure situations.
In the Women’s Premier League (WPL), Amanjot was signed by the Mumbai Indians in 2023 and has remained a key player through the 2025 season.
